Regarding the U-space drive in ships: I did initially start out with it being necessary for them to build up speed before entering U-space, then later had the more modern ships capable of entering U-space from a standing start. I take the view that even when new technology is being used, that doesn't mean the old stuff has just disappeared. Just look at our own technology. Modern cars have electric starters and windows, but there's still those out there that need a handle to be turned. That’s a pretty good summation, thanks.
